[Generally, Daria hasn't been keeping much in contact since school let out. But it seems that today she's willing to open up to her peers--]

Please, dear god, an aneurism.

[...Well that explains a whole lot. There's a five minute pause before she elaborates.]

Before the questions start; my home has been invaded by the fashion police. Going on two weeks now.

By the way. If anyone knows where my journal is, I'd like it back. By journal I mean the one that doesn't broadcast my writing to the whole school.

I'd hate to have to name names, after all.

I think we should all agree right now that my mother never hear a word of this. I think she'd try and sue the school.

And here's a tip: if people are staring at you strangely, your clothes are peculiar, and you're generally being addressed as the opposite gender, it's your time in the spotlight. Congratulations, Hogwarts has picked you to mess with.

[Daria's voice comes over the journal, albeit mostly in a tired sigh. There's a shuffling, as she was laying back in her bed for a bit before sitting up and staring into the journal.

...There's another brief sigh.]

I know I'm going to regret this...

I can't exactly figure out what to write about in my free time. Does anyone have ideas?
allsarcasm: (No please do go on)
Okay. Who took my notebook, why, and I will warn you not to read it. It might make you think too hard about things.

And Apparently my mother insists that I go to the zoo.

Nothing like being stuffed in a stretch of property with cages and ropes and glass, watching the various subjects walk around in their limited enclosure space and cope with their obesity, wishing they had the opportunity to engage in more activity. How interesting it will be to watch the results of lives where they sit around and wait to be fed, given no option to behave the way they see fit because of safety concerns. The animals will be interesting, too.

...Is anyone else going for reasons that don't exactly inspire enthusiasm? We can sit in the food court in protest instead.
allsarcasm: (I'm with her.)
I didn't really want to do this, but it looks like I'm being encouraged to "reach out to my peers".

So, "peers", I'm Daria. You might've seen me in the hallway or at lunch at some point, out of the corner of your eyes. I don't do fashion or sports - no, not even quidditch - and I have no interest in shopping or other teenage leisure time activities. Doing your homework for you is going to cost a galleon a page, and please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times.

Any questions?
